The dinner will be a mixture of traditional Italian and ethnic cuisine beginning with aperitifs in the garden with final courses served in the stunning frescoed rooms of the Palazzo. The dinner will be preceded by a musical event with selected “pieces” from the Arena di Verona season.
      

Venue
Palazzo Verità Poeta represents the most beautiful example of Venetian architecture in Verona. It lies in the centre of Verona, very near the Arena and Castelvecchio, within walking distance of the Congress venue, the Gran Guardia.

The palace received its name from the noble family Verità Poeta which has made Verona its home for centuries. In fact, Renaissance legend links the origin of the town and its name to the coming of the Verità family from Etruria.
Since ancient times this area has been especially built to be conveniently located near the Roman walls first, and then the Medieval walls, as well as staying close to the Gavi Arch, one of the main accesses to the town.
In the middle of the XVIIIth century the palace was built and decorated by some of the finest Italian artists of the time. The best known is Antonio Galli Bibiena (1697 – 1774), a famous architect who built theatres all over Europe. Bibiena was probably entrusted with the task of planning the entire building and, with certainty, of drawing the decorations of the main hall and supervising the work.

From the balcony, which runs along the internal facade, it is possible to enjoy the view of a quiet garden of about 1000 sqm, a serene green oasis in the centre of Verona.
